How to Book a Lake Ohrid Boat Tour
Choose a date, pick the tour, and send your details. Here is how a reservation on Lake Ohrid actually works, including the New Year dates.
Booking a Lake Ohrid boat tour takes three steps on the site. You pick the day first, then the route, then your details. There is no account to create.
1. Pick the date
Start on the Book a tour page and choose the day you want to be on the water. The calendar only offers days we can sail. Around New Year the open days are 30 December, 31 December, 1 January, 2 January and 3 January – the New Year dates page is the short version of that window.
2. Choose the tour
After the date, the site lists the tours that can run that day. A half hour on the old city loop and a six-hour ride to St. Naum are different boats and different days out, so read the duration before you continue. Each tour page lists what is included: a guide, non-alcoholic drinks and Wi-Fi on the regular routes, and the departure point in front of Hotel Tino.
3. Send your details
The last step asks for your name, party size and contact details. From there we confirm the reservation. If online payment is open for that booking you will be taken to pay; otherwise you send the request and we reply with the next step. Either way, the date is the thing that matters — send it while the day is still listed.
A few things that save a message later
- Match the tour length to the day you actually have. Kaneo is not a reason to book six hours.
- The party size is the number of guests on that boat, not a hotel room count.
- If you are travelling over New Year, use one of the five open dates rather than a day that is not listed.
